Technical Writer 2I developed a new product page for Red Hat Subscription Management on the Red Hat Customer Portal and knowledge articles on access.redhat.com on troubleshooting and using the Red Hat Subscription Management tool. I also co-authored standards for using minimalism in technical writing and worked with senior editors to implement them at Red Hat and published and article on opensource.com on editing using technical writing minimalism standards. Additionally, I also on-boarded new employee who was hired to also write for Red Hat Subscription Management entitlement tools. I also wrote for the Ansible Automation Platform team leading up to the 2.5 release and the next week's patch.
Player Theory
EditorEditing articles written by volunteer writers for the gaming blog, Player Theory using the AP style guide. Player Theory was developed by a group of friends in order to utilize a common love of gaming and writing.
IBM
Information DeveloperCreated new DITA topics for Maximo Spatial Management and Maximo Asset Management, created new technotes for Maximo Asset Management related to application bugs, workarounds, and update releases, and created new images a guided demo for new TRIRIGA (SaaS) customers in three languages (German, French, Russian). I also created flowcharts for Maximo processes for InterConnect 2016.

Associate Technical WriterCreated new technical content for the premium tech support application, Symbi. I also spearheaded an initiative to convert content from Sling Media’s knowledge base to Symbi’s CMS and the development of the first internal style guide. Additionally, I tested features, bugs, and fixes in the development tools in DEV and STAGE. Wrote bug reports for issues.
UNC Charlotte Information Technology Services
InternAuthored a 60+ page manual for the System Administration Management (SAM) tool, used to plan and track budgets and expenses in UNC Charlotte colleges, the bulk if a 30+ page reference guide, and a quick reference guide with another student.
UNC Charlotte Student Media
Copy EditorEdited articles written by other students for grammar, spelling, and Associated Press errors and applied the edits to digital copies (online, Adobe InDesign, or Microsoft Word) in the UNC Charlotte student newspaper, The University Times, edited additional housing and welcome guides produced by the paper three times a year, and wrote articles for news, opinion, and AE. Involved in the staff that broke the name of UNC Charlotte’s first football coach before any other media outlet did.
Duke University Libraries
InternProvided an analysis of gaps in poetry collection, transcribed interviews with faculty to better understand their research processes, and coded computer related questions asked at the Reference desk for an examination of user behavior.
Build-a-Bear Workshops
AssociateBuilt bears, basic sewing, hosted parties of 6+ children at a time, opening and/or closing duties, customer service relations. Twice received letters from the corporate office congratulating me on outstanding customer service (customer contacted corporate to compliment the quality of their service).

Involved in Sigma Tau Delta, completed approximately 40 hours of volunteer service as a note taker, and made the Chancellor's List (3.8+ semester average) twice. 3.4 GPA.
