Metaphoric Criticism

Summary: Working in small groups, we presented a report on a perspective or approach used in rhetorical criticism, select and make available for other students to read an essay that illustrates that perspective, and present them an exercise in which we applied that perspective. We also read and respond to these brief papers.

Description: My group and I analyzed the history and rhetorical practice of the subfield of metaphoric criticism, developed a for class, presented the findings to the class, assigned a reading and writing assignment, and collected an annotated bibliography of 15 sources.
